Thank you so much for your interest in advertising on DiScTalkRadio (DSTR). Between the star status of many of our guests, the awesome chatting about fabulous products and the innovative use of technology not often seen in our scrapbooking community, you know that DSTR stands for quality, fun, and information. We like to think of it as the place to hang out and actually hear about all the fantastic going-on’s in the world of scrapbooking - and often times right from the ______ mouths, well, we'd hate to call our guests “horses” but you know what we mean!
So, let's look at all the ways we can get you connected with our Listeners and Friends. We have a number of options available for just about every price point. We also have something to offer that not many other sites in the scrapbooking community can – your own commercial on the air. Why not place a commercial in our shows that can be heard by thousands of listeners. We can also customize your advertising to include both web and air play. Maybe you would like to sponsor a show: The options are endless.
Another key component of our ad space strategy is to ensure your ad does not get lost in a sea of other advertisers; really how effective is your ad if it only pops up every 1,000 page views? We want to work as a partner with you to maximize your advertising dollars and to make you feel confident you made the right choice by placing your at DSTR. Though we work with the impressions (page views) model, our goal is to ensure your ad will run for approximately 30days, with as many views as possible. So in short, we will not over sell our ad space, in order to maintain the integrity of our relationship. It's all about the clicks and respect, man!
Here is how it works. Look over our options; pick one that works for you. Send us an email expressing your choices. We'll determine what is available and send the ad specs. If that is to your liking, we'll invoice you, you send us the payment and the ad, and within 24 hours we'll have your ad up on our site for all to see! (We'd add bells, but that might become annoying while trying to listen to a show.)

Skyscraper
Skyscraper ads run down the side columns of a web page and are a bit more valuable, due the fact that these ads have a better click through rate. These ads extend down the length of a page so as people scroll down the page your ad remains in view. These ads are also a bit bigger then banner ads and tend to catch your eye. Banner Ad
Banner ads are the bread and butter of internet advertising. We display two banner ads per page view (impressions) at the top of every page on our site. The current average cost for web banner ads is around $9.00 (US) for 1,000 impressions, Cost per Mile (CPM). Block Ads
Block or Square ads appear below the Skyscraper ads on the right sides of our web pages. Our block ads are a bit bigger then average size, which means more visibility to you and a price point that should be reasonable for even the most limited of advertising budgets. Want to bring your advertising to the next level, hear your site mentioned on the air? Why not create a commercial and advertise on our shows. For the excellent introductory price of $200.00 (US), you will get one 60 second spot in each of the next 8 shows produced. THAT'S 8 SHOWS FOR ONLY $200.00 (US). What a Bargain! Plus your commercial will continue to air while the shows are in the archive, that’s at least another 3 months! What are we thinkin’ – well, what we’re thinking is that we believe in this medium of advertising and using the technology that we have to bring it to another level, and we want you to use it too! Need help creating or producing the ad? We’ll be happy to walk you through the step so you can do it yourself or have us produce it for a one time service fee.
