Monthly Coupons...where are you?

I was just thinking the same thing, the coupons should be posted at the beginning of the month, here it is, the 10th, and not a one.  It really does not give us enough time to shop and take advantage of the offers.  What if we have more to spend at the beginning of the month, at the end of the month...not so much.  Is that the plan, offer coupons but not give us a chance to use them?

Okay. We pay more than other site memberships. Granted, they serve different purposes, etc., but they are related to digi. What are we getting from DiscTakRadio?

"Exclusive digital kits created by amazing designers!"
--Yes, sometimes late. Varied in size (Nancie's, Heather's and a few others vs. almost everyone). How long are they exclusive? I've seen them up for sale soon afterwards.

"Generous offers from our Partners of DSTR (Save, Save, Save)" --Consistently late. Incomplete. This month's is already 10 days late.

"Challenges with great prizes, including being in the Spotlight on Dishin the Digi - C2C (Priceless)"

--Sometimes they are posted, and sometimes they are not. I kept checking the gallery for posts regarding Jen Caputo's (which was advertised on the "Goodies at DSTR" page. Never found it.

"Friendly discounts from our guests (Sky's the Limit)"
--Seen those in the forums. Been timely.

"Chances to win other groovey goodies (Boundless)"
--Weren't there problems with the garden watering contest? I don't see any other consistent contests...

"Support future show development (More More More)"
"Keep the audio stream'n (Happy Listening)"

--I think that's about what our membership does... we pay for the streams with not much but the shows and a kit back. I will not be renewing my subscription next year because I am tired of constantly hoping that the codes would be up, that the shows would be up in time... or that the kit would stand up to past kits. Sorry... but I am really disappointed.

It is a disappointment to not have the coupons closer to the beginning of the month. Many of us know the trends of our favorite designers, and there have been some nice sales due to DSD, but we could have used coupons to plan our shopping better.

Coupons encourage people to buy designs, and when those items are used in layouts, people see the designs used and are more likely to buy them--it's a cycle that extends well beyond one person initially using a single coupon. Delaying the release of coupons is a disservice not only to the subscribers here, but also to the designers who benefit from the sale of their products. If some designers are lax in their submission of coupon codes, why not at least display the ones who have?

and that's exactly what we are going to do...so you will see what we have posted in the very beginning of the month, so that those designers that send us their coupons on time WILL benefit, as will you guys. as for the others that are late, we'll add them as we get them. we're looking at a lot of changes to make things more timely and efficient. i sure appreciate your feedback. thanks! xo,d
